I would love to help you
develop transparent scientific workflows and
learn how to do open and reproducible research

About

scientific workflows

Modern scientific workflows are an integration of code, visualizations and documentation. I love to take care of these three components equally, acknowledging the importance of creating robust pipelines together with effective communication of methods and findings. The quality of scientific workflows is fundamental for me.

As I deeply believe in open and reproducible research for the advancement of science, all my new projects are created in Jupyter notebooks with python, have open-source code licenses, and are shared on open scientific repositories. This allows other researchers to reuse and extend original code to build useful and reliable community-based tools, potentially increasing your citation rate.

I am looking forward to talking to you about our next project. We will discuss together aims and expectations, computational workflows, visualizations, and documentation. I can take care of the entire process: From creating the pipeline, to conceive the visualization, to document the process. But I can also focus on specific steps or be an advisor for your project. Here are some of the topics I would love to work on with you:

  • Analysis of musculoskeletal medical images
  • Data science workflows
  • Static and interactive scientific visualizations
  • scientific data management

Get in touch to discuss our next project together!

speaking and teaching

I am always eager to share my knowledge and make other people enthousiastic about what I am passionate about. Over the last few years I have created several talks to inspire and teach about open and reproducible research, and I am looking forward to create more!

I love to talk about fundamentals of open and reproducible research, why it is important, and what are the benefits associated to it. I also enjoy giving hands-on workshops and course, where I teach the Jupyter notebook/python environment, and how to use them to make our research more transparent. Here are some topics I would love to talk about:

  • Why open and reproducible research
  • Open and reproducible research in practice
  • Python and Jupyter notebook for transparent research

Get in touch if you would like me to speak at your event or teach in your group!
